What is the Tournament format?
Fair Play Strikes 10-strike elimination tournament, with a Strike Knockout finals for the last 8 standing.
Charity?
A portion of the proceeds will go to project pinball. they have a great mission to bring pinball to children's hospitals across the country. https://projectpinball.org/. A 50/50 raffle will also happen during the tournament with half the proceeds going to the raffle winner and half going to the charity.
What's a Creepy Crawly Pinball crawl?
This is a Halloween themed pinball crawl. We have 4 hosts graciously opening up their houses for up to 50 different machines to play. Each location is less than 10 minutes from the next. It is strongly encouraged to carpool to each location, especially to Alex's house. Please put some effort into wearing a costume and having a good time.
What is a Fair Play Strikes tournament?
The 36 player field will play in groups of four, with first place receiving no strikes, 2nd and 3rd place receiving one strike, and 4th place receiving two strikes. In 3-player groups, first gets no strikes, 2nd gets one, and 3rd gets two. In 2-player groups, first gets no strikes and 2nd gets two. Initial groupings will be random, with Swiss-style grouping after round 1. The plan is to play 3 or 4 rounds at each location.
Strikes Knockout Finals?
The last eight standing will advance to finals. One group of four, with first place receiving no strikes and all other positions receiving one strike. Once you receive two strikes you are eliminated. Tiebreaker for final standings will be a single game played by all tied players. Highest seeds will get game bank selection.
First Location and time
Warmups will start at 10am at the first location Jim's House, with tournament play beginning at 11am. Once round 3 or 4 is complete, we will start the clock before tournament play starts at the second location. The allotted time is for travel to and warmup at the second location. After completion of play at the second location, the clock will start before play starts at the third location. If we need to adjust timing on the fly for any reason, we will.
Is food included?
The entry fee includes a small amount to cover the cost of pizza. We will eat at an appropriate time at the second location.

You are welcome to hang out, socialize, and play any machines not being used for tournament play. The main goal here is to have some fun!!
